The Patented PyroKracker(tm) Oven provides the ultimate versatility of service in a very simple construction.

The Patented PyroKracker(tm) Oven can be used to heat, dry or sanitize virtually any feedstock. It can be utilized to pyrolyze and thermally reform or gasify any carbon base compound. The materials and products being processed are transported through the oven without the application of rotating screw conveyors and augers. The PyroKracker(tm) Oven is simple to manufacture and offers dependable, low cost and reliable operation.

We are presently soliciting sponsers for an oil field application of the PyroKracker(tm) oven to convert ultra low gravity crude oil, 6-11 degree API, to 22 - 25 degree API oil.

The oven will be utilized to thermally transform the heavy oil to vapor and carbon char with the vapor being condensed as a lighter hydrocarbon liquid.

April 2004 HOTCO Engineering was asked to evaluate equipment being constructed by Simeken Inc. of Signal Hill, CA for a scrap tire processing plant to be installed at Shafter, CA. A component of the system was a Pyrolysis Retort Oven utilizing screws and augers to move shredded scrap tires through the oven for thermal decomposition to vapor and carbon char. It was determined by HOTCO that the oven under construction would not provide sustained operation due to likely frequent failure of the rotating mechanisms and further it did not provide a means for sufficient heat transfer to the feedstock. HOTCO designed and patented the PyroKracker(tm) Thermal Decomposer, a radically different and greatly improved Oven, with a manufacturing cost one third of the original oven. HOTCO is the sole owner of the patents

The Patented PyroKracker was demonstrated for many months near Matamoros, Mexico as part of a technology exchange program. The PyroKracker(tm) oven was proven to have the capability of thermally converting many different types of feedstock such as scrap tires, scrap wood and sanitation sludge to hyrocarbon vapor and carbon char while maintaining international exhaust emission standards.
